Frequently Asked Billing Questions

Not being in-network allows me to put more time and energy into doing what I love: working with clients. I don't particularly want to focus on the goals and obligations of insurance companies.

Out-of-network billing practices allow me to achieve this while clients still get to use insurance benefits.

If the benefits checker on this page doesn't work for you or if you believe the information is incorrect, either myself or my biller can verify them as well.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out and ask. There tends to be a lot of confusion around insurance / billing.

This is when a provider is paid at the time of service but submits a claim on your behalf so that you can get reimbursed directly by your insurance company.

A superbill is when a provider is paid at the time of service and then provides you with an invoice to submit to your health insurance for direct reimbursement.
